All our fairs offer you the opportunity to start a recruitment journey with us, and to promote your graduate roles and internships to our high calibre candidates. Engaging with representatives from the world of work inspires our students and provides them with insight and inspiration to help them develop their career ambitions.

Careers Fairs 2025/2026

Careers Fairs play an important role in highlighting a whole range of employment opportunities. They also provide a direct link to employers that are offering employment and seeking graduates. We are currently planning for our 2025/26 Careers Fairs - the dates, locations and times, are listed below to find out more and book click on the Fair

Information for employers

These events will be aimed at students from all year groups looking for placements, summer jobs/internships, or course-related part-time work. Also open to graduates.

Cost to exhibit

Medium/large business (Organisations with 250 or more employees) £150 + VAT
SME (Organisations with less than 250 employees) £75 + VAT
Third sector/Public sector/Armed forces/Online ONLY* £50 + VAT

Roles 

Placements, summer jobs/internships, graduate schemes, graduate level roles or course-related part-time work.

Communication with students

You can let us know on a booking form which students you want to meet; year groups, relevant courses etc. we can then target advertisements to these students ahead of the fair.

Sponsoring our careers fairs 

A £500 + VAT sponsorship for the fair includes:

  • Main sponsor billing on the careers fair landing page
  • Sponsor logo featured on students’ fair booking page
  • Sponsor logo featured on event advertising and promotional material
  • Sponsor logo featured on pre-event careers and enterprise content
  • Pre-event email communication to students in your selected target
  • Opportunity to identify stand location at the venue

As well as organising careers fairs, the University of Salford has a free to use online jobs portal for employers, which gains more than 22,000 views each year.
Jobs can be added throughout the year, for part-time work, placements and graduate level vacancies, either local or nationwide.

Would you like to advertise a volunteering opportunity? Are you based in the UK and a: 

  • charity?
  • not-for-profit organisation (including social enterprises and public sector organisations)?
  • community group? 

If so, please complete our Volunteering Opportunity Registration Form.

Please encourage any University of Salford students or graduates to follow the advice provided on our Application referees web page when identifying appropriate referees/reference providers. 

If you want to confirm the study dates and qualifications of any of our students, you can make requests for information through the Higher Education Degree Datacheck (HEDD) service. Any questions you have about this service should be directed to Prospects HEDD.
