Term-time opening hours (Trimester 1 and 2)
Virtual queries (telephone, email and live chat):

There are no services at MediaCity during Trimester 3 and Vacation times. However, you can catch the 50 bus between campuses for free by showing the bus driver your student card.

Wellbeing and Counselling
If you are a student, you can access free and confidential counselling through the Student CareFirst phone line - available 24 hours a day, seven days a week: +44 (0)800 970 1080. Find out more about Wellbeing and Counselling.
Wellbeing Advisers offer phone triage and face-to-face sessions throughout the week, as well as follow-up sessions where appropriate.

IT Support and Student Log ins
You can contact our Digital IT Service Desk team by logging a self-service ticket or Live Chat via our IT Portal.
If you require urgent support, please call us on +44 (0)161 295 2444 between 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday (except bank holidays).
Face to face help from the team is available at the Tech Bar on the ground floor in Clifford Whitworth Library.
It is staffed Monday to Friday, 09:00-16:00 (excluding bank holidays and the University closure period during the Winter Break).
Campus safety
Our campus security team is available for advice and assistance 24 hours a day.
