Ready to shape the future of architecture through bold ideas and real-world practice?

Our MArch Architecture course is your next step towards becoming a fully qualified architect. Delivered from our studios in the heart of the world’s first industrial city, you’ll join the Salford Laboratory of Architecture (S-LAB) – a creative, research-led environment where architecture meets innovation, social impact, and design experimentation.

Over two years, you’ll explore the relationship between people, place, and technology through studio-based projects, immersive workshops, and live briefs with leading industry partners. With access to cutting-edge facilities and expert academic support, you’ll gain the confidence, knowledge, and professional insight to thrive in today’s architectural world.

What our architecture students say

“I really like the fact that our briefs are quite technical as this pushes our boundaries. We can make visuals through CAD software such as SketchUp and Revit, and use our strengths to pull it together. It’s amazing to see my designs come to life when making models. It’s not a case of looking at paper and trying to visualise it, instead you can see what your designs will be like using small 3D printed furniture and people to help provide scale.”

- Matthew, BSc (Hons) Architecture student.
