Sports Hall and 3G Pitch

Sports and exercise students benefit from the use of our on-site six-court sports hall and 3G pitch.

In addition to our advanced Sport Science Laboratories, sports and exercise students from the School of Health and Society learn and train in our on-site Sports Centre facilities, which include a six-court sports hall and a £1m floodlit 3G pitch.

Our sports programmes regularly utilise these spaces for activities such as performance analysis, recording and monitoring athletes with GPS trackers, camera equipment, and analysis software. Rehabilitation students also develop their knowledge and techniques in providing pitch-side support and therapy.

These facilities are also available to the local community, students, and staff for a range of activities. Find out more via our Sports Centre webpage.
