Biography

I am an passionate and motivated senior nurse academic and researcher, with 25 years of health and social care experience and nine years working in academia working across pre and post graduate education and I am an active researcher with regular publication. Internationally I have presented and taught and on led international mobility for students and regularly present internationally. I am a keen cyclist and have an interest in how active travel can be a method of improving health aging and reduce inequality

Teaching

I have extensive experience in teaching learning as a lecturer and senior lecturer. I have lead the implementation of specialist community nursing programmes in the school of health and society. I am also an external examiner, and active member of the northern community educators group as well as having completed an additional role as an NMC visitor
